Each week we look at some players on each side of the field who could help you win your fantasy football matchup this weekend.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett

The 49ers come into town with the league’s 26th-ranked passing defense according to Football Outsiders.

Brissett struggled mightily in the second half against the Seahawks on Sunday night, but he’s thrown for 475 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception in his two other starts this season. Brissett has shown something more each week, and this matchup gives him a chance to put together another strong performance

Wide Receiver Pierre Garcon

The 49ers‘ roster doesn’t have much talent on offense, but Colts fans know firsthand that Pierre Garcon is one of the league’s most underrated receivers.

Garcon played the first four years of his career in Indianapolis, and he’s become an extremely consistent wide receiver gaining around 1,000 yards each and every season. Garcon has clearly emerged as the 49ers’ number one target, and the Colts’ secondary might not have anyone who can fully contain him.

Wide Receiver Donte Moncrief

We’ve already mentioned that San Francisco’s defense struggles against the pass, but they especially have trouble defending number two receivers.

They rank 29th in that category, according to Football Outsiders, and Donte Moncrief is completely capable of taking advantage of this matchup.

Moncrief has been boom or bust as a fantasy option over his NFL career, but Brissett finally found him in the end zone last week against the Seahawks, and he should be the Colts’ top red zone target again this week.
