Most Underrated Colts Players in Madden ’18
By Andrew Ites
With the recent release of Madden ’18, we took at some of the game’s most underrated players on the Colts’ roster.
DL Henry Anderson: 76 Overall
We’ve discussed how we think Henry Anderson is going to have a breakout year in 2017, but the Madden ratings don’t seem to think so as they have him listed at 76 overall in the most recent edition of the legendary football video game.
Injuries have kept Anderson off the field over his first two NFL seasons as he’s already missed 12 games in his career, but he’s been extremely effective when he’s been on the field. Anderson is set for a big season this year, and we expect his overall rating to be much higher in Madden ’19.
DL Johnathan Hankins: 76 Overall
The interior of the Colts’ defensive line should be much improved with the addition of Johnathan Hankins this offseason. He played a meaningful part on a nasty Giants defense that ranked second in the league in total defense according to Football Outsiders.
Hankins played well even though he was forced to play out of position next to Damon Harrison in New York. Hankins fits better in this defense alongside Henry Anderson, and they could form one of the league’s better interior duos.

WR Chester Rogers: 67 Overall
If you were running a Colts franchise in Madden ’18, Chester Rogers probably wouldn’t make the 53-man roster, especially with Kamar Aiken listed as a 78 overall. Rogers has reportedly had a good training camp when he’s been healthy, and will slot in as the third wide receiver on this depth chart over Aiken.
