Only Whalen, Hasselbeck Can’t Handle Hilton Too in Workouts

According to Twitter, this past weekend Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and wideout Griff Whalen were training at the University of Washington in Seattle, as part of their offseason workouts in anticipation of August’s training camp:

While we previously heard of Andrew Luck and at least Donte Moncrief training at Stanford University this past week, it’s great to see other Colts players following suit.

Apparently, former NFL coach Jim Zorn, who was Hasselbeck’s old quarterback coach from the Seattle Seahawks (2001-07), also helped take part in the Colts duo’s training.

However, things got rather humorous last night on Twitter when Colts star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton “became saddened” over the lack of an invite:

In order to comfort “The Ghost”, this led to Whalen hinting that Hasselbeck’s 39 year old arm may not be able to consistently handle throwing bombs to one of the league’s best deep threats in Hilton:

A sentiment that was later shared by Hasselbeck in response to Hilton’s snub:

Hilton’s feelings may have been hurt, but on the plus side, the health of Hasselbeck’s arm will be in much better shape due to the former’s now obvious omission come training camp.

Sorry, Ghost.
