The Jacksonville Jaguars continued their dominance over the Indianapolis Colts at home with a 37-34 victory, despite the Colts' best efforts to eke out a win. The last time the Colts won in Jacksonville was in 2014, when Andrew Luck threw four touchdowns and led the Colts to a 44-17 victory.

During the first half, the Colts trailed 13-10, despite the Colts coming out swinging with an effortless touchdown from Flacco and Michael Pittman, Jr. to bring them to an early lead. They couldn't keep the momentum going, though, and didn't score another touchdown in the first half. And the defense, meanwhile, couldn't stop the Jaguars from scoring and taking an early lead.

Things didn't look much better in the second half at first. Unfortunately for the Colts, offensive guard Will Fries was injured in the third quarter and had to be carted off the field, surrounded by the entire Colts team.

Meanwhile, the Colts continued to struggle as the game went on. The defense didn't put much pressure on Lawrence, while the Jaguars defense sacked Flacco numerous times. The Colts pass rush was weak, as many predicted it would be; they're missing several of their star players due to injuries (DeForest Buckner, Kwity Paye, and Tyquan Lewis), and Laiatu Latu and Dayo Odeyingbo were left to carry the pass rush on their own. Unsurprisingly, it was too much.

The Colts also had more penalties than the Jaguars, and though they had a higher time of possession and more first downs, they simply weren't able to convert that into touchdowns.

For a moment, it appeared as if the Colts would be able to mount a comeback; Flacco hit Alec Pierce for big throws, which led to back-to-back touchdowns. The game ended up tied at 34-34, until the Colts allowed the Jaguars to get within field goal range in the last seconds of the game. That led to a field goal, giving the Jaguars their first win of the season.

Flacco finished 33 of 44 for 359 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, which will surely add more fuel to the Flacco-or-Richardson fire. Next week, the Colts will take on the Tennessee Titans in their second divisional matchup in a row.
