Indianapolis Colts 2023 schedule: Everything you need to know
The NFL will soon release the official schedule for the Indianapolis Colts and the rest of the NFL. We’ll have you covered with all the details.
With the initial rush of free agency and the NFL Draft now behind the NFL, all eyes turn to the league’s schedule release. While every team knows their opponents, it’s unclear when they’ll be playing them and in what order. The NFL will release this information in the coming days.
Based on opponents, the Indianapolis Colts are projected to have one of the easiest schedules. That should help Indy as it tries to rebuild itself back into a contender. Playing in the mediocre AFC South, it’s always possible for the Colts to emerge as a surprise threat, similar to the Jacksonville Jaguars last season.
Last season, Indianapolis played nine road games and eight at home. This year, that will switch, as Indy will play nine home games and one on the road. However, there is a chance that the Colts could play in an international game this season.
Will the Colts play in an international game in 2023?
Indy isn’t hosting one of the international games this year, but they could be going overseas as a visiting opponent. The Colts will play the Tennessee Titans, the New England Patriots, and the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road this season. It has already been announced that the Titans and Jaguars will host games in London, while the Patriots will host a game in Germany.
When the schedule is announced, Indy will be watching to see if those games are overseas or in America, at each teams’ respective home stadium.
