Colts will play Patriots in Germany during the 2023 season, here are all the details

Ahead of the 2023 NFL schedule release, the league has announced that the Indianapolis Colts will be playing the New England Patriots in Frankfurt, Germany.

The NFL will release the full schedule for the 2023 season on Thursday, May 11, but on Wednesday, the league announced a few games. The NFL started the day by announcing all of the details for the five international games. The fifth and final international game of the 2023 season will be between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots in Frankfurt, Germany on November 12.

When the five hosts were announced for the international games, it became clear that there was a good chance the Colts would be taking a trip overseas, because Indy has road games against three of the hosting teams. Surely enough, Indianapolis will play in Germany against the Patriots.

When will the Colts play the Patriots in Germany?

Indy will play the Pats in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, November 12. This Week 10 matchup will kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET and will be available to watch on NFL Network.

The Colts and the Patriots will take this rivalry on the road as both teams try to bounce back from last season. Indy is coming off a 4-12-1 season, and New England is coming off a season where it finished 8-9. Hopefully, both teams will be able to bring the fans in Germany a better on-field product than what they displayed last season.

How can fans get tickets for Colts vs. Patriots game in Germany?

Tickets haven’t officially gone on sale yet but fans can register for tickets. You have to register first to be able to purchase tickets once they do go on sale. However, registration does not guarantee a ticket; tickets have to be purchased after registering.

Colts history in international games

Indianapolis has only played once in an international game before. That was in 2016 when Indy played the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. The Colts lost that game 30-27. Hopefully, Indy will be able to have a better showing in Frankfurt, Germany when it takes on the Patriots on November 12.
