Following the Indianapolis Colts' first preseason game against the Denver Broncos last weekend, it was time to start ramping up the action a little bit.

This week, the Colts hosted the Arizona Cardinals for a couple of joint practices, and these joint practices felt a little different than those of the past. They were, well, a bit special.

The Cardinals drafted Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. with pick no. 4 in this year's draft. Harrison is, of course, the son of a Colts legend, who played his entire career with Indianapolis. The younger Harrison was able to visit and practice in front of the same fan base his father once embraced.

Now, the two teams will face off on Saturday in each team's second preseason game of the year. For fans wanting to know how they can watch the action or even listen to it, we've got you covered.

How to watch Colts vs. Cardinals Preseason Week 2

Date: Aug. 17
Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
TV: CBS4
Streaming: FuboTV (subscription required, in-market only), NFL+ (out-of-market)

This matchup could be an interesting one because, in their first joint practice, quarterback Anthony Richardson and the offense torched Arizona's defense.

it doesn't seem likely that head coach Shane Steichen saw enough between joint practices or Preseason Week 1 to warrant keeping Richardson on the sideline in this game, though, as the second-year pro needs to continue receiving some reps especially after his rookie season ended so prematurely in 2023.

Typically, the bigger names will play the most in their team's second preseason game before either sitting out the final week or maybe playing just one series. We should expect to see Richardson for a handful of series, barring Steichen seeing enough from his quarterback in just one or two drives. The young quarterback has been the center of a lot of hype this offseason, but he'll still need some reps.

One guy who won't be playing is Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. A little over a week ago, Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon announced that Murray will sit out all three preseason games, in fact. So, it'll be a mix of Desmond Ridder and Clayton Tune who will try and test the Colts defense Saturday.
