Colts tease what appears to be an alternate uniform for the 2023 season

There’s nothing like an announcement for an announcement to get fans excited. On Wednesday, the Indianapolis Colts took to social media to tease an announcement that they’ll make on Wednesday morning at 10am ET, and fans are already anticipating what this announcement could be.

This all started when the Colts announced the themes for their home games. Fans quickly noticed that for the Week 7 game on October 22, the theme was listed as “Reveal July 17.” However, Indy didn’t have an announcement for fans on that day. Still, fans had guessed that this surprise theme would either be a Ring of Honor induction or an alternate uniform.

Following an 18-second teaser video of the silhouette of two players in front of a video of the city of Indianapolis, fans are leaning towards the idea of an alternate uniform.

Indianapolis plans to wear throwback uniforms in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so it’s unclear what direction the franchise could go with these alternate uniforms.
