Colts schedule 2024: When is Indianapolis' bye week?

The Indianapolis Colts' schedule is out for the 2024 season and one question on everyone's minds when the schedules get released every year is: When is the bye week?

Bye weeks give teams a week off to rest up and recharge. It's also important when teams get their bye weeks. A super early bye (Week 7 or earlier) might be nice in the moment but it means teams have to play throughout the rest of the long, grueling season without any breaks. A late bye week (Week 13 or later) means that players don't get time off until December, which is a long time to go before getting that coveted time off.

The Colts are in the latter of this category, receiving a late bye week and meaning they'll have to wait until December before they get their time off.

When is the Colts' bye week?

The Colts won't have their bye until Week 14, putting them in the late-window of bye weeks. This is good if Indy goes on to be a playoff contender as that late-season bye will prep them for the final four games of the season. At the same time, though, that means they have to play 13 straight games without a break.

Week 14 takes place on December 8th, so Colts fans can pencil in that weekend to make Sunday plans. Christmas will be coming up so fans can do a little shopping or kick back and watch the rest of the games taking place that week.
