Colts fans have a specific request for the primetime regular-season finale vs. Texans

In Week 18, the final week of the 2023 NFL regular season, the Indianapolis Colts will play the Houston Texans in a massive game. The winner of the game will be heading to the postseason and the loser’s season will be over. Additionally, the winner of the game could be AFC South champions if the Jacksonville Jaguars lose to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Considering the circumstances, the NFL has decided to make this a primetime game, giving it an 8:15 pm ET kickoff time for Saturday night. A big moment for two teams that entered the season with very little National attention. The Texans have played every game this season at 1:00 pm on Sunday and the Colts have played all but two games in the Sunday afternoon slot. Now, all eyes will be on the two young squads as they help decide the playoff picture.

With that being the case, from the second it was announced that this game would be on Saturday night, Colts fans were very specific about what they wanted to see. Obviously, a win, but fans also want the team to wear the Indiana Nights alternate uniform.

Fans want Colts to wear Indiana Nights alternate uniform against Texans

As soon as the details for the game were announced, fans went to social media and explained that this is the perfect time to wear Indy’s newest uniform. It’s a stand-alone, Nationally televised night game in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium. Additionally, everything is on the line in this win-and-in matchup. If there was ever a time to wear a cool, Indiana Nights-themed uniform, Saturday night is the time.

The Colts introduced this uniform during the offseason and debuted them in a Week 7 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The franchise did say that the uniform would be incorporated into Indy’s rotation to be worn moving forward. However, Indianapolis didn’t ever announce when the team would next wear the altenerate uniform.
