1. Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie

Isaiah McKenzie could go down as Chris Ballard's most underrated pickup for this offseason. The agile slot receiver has six years of NFL experience under his belt, making him a veteran leader for a young Colts receiving corps.

After a career high in receptions, yards, and touchdowns in 2022, McKenzie is poised to put up similar numbers as a WR3. McKenzie has drawn comparisons to teammate Josh Downs who shares a similar size and skillset.

"I feel like my size doesn't even matter at this point. I bring it up because everybody says he's too small, but I've only missed two games in my career. I can withstand a hit, I can make plays and I feel like I'm here for a reason."

Despite being undersized on paper, McKenzie makes his impact felt on the field at all times. The Colts have had continuous success with receivers deemed "too small", and the addition of Isaiah McKenzie seems to be perfect for Anthony Richardson & Co. heading into the regular season.

In McKenzie's return game to Buffalo to start the preseason, he caught Richardson's first NFL completion. The speedy 28-year-old has had a solid training camp, making plays with his speed across the field.

Expect the veteran to land a big role for the season, as his speed and agility separate his skillset from other receivers on the squad.
