The positive part is that tight end Tyler Warren, the rookie sensation of the Indianapolis Colts, is not injured. The negative part is that he was still iffy to play in Week 13 against the Houston Texans. A day before the game, Indy changed the tight end's status to questionable.
The issue is that he has an illness. Just how bad isn't fully known, but certainly bad enough for the team to worry he couldn't play. Still, nearly all of the times a player is listed with an illness, they do play, and that should be the expectation for Warren, too.
The team does not have to announce its list of inactives until an hour and a half before kickoff. That gives the team a lot of time to make sure Warren isn't going to get sicker (or make his teammates sick) by playing. That seems extremely unlikely, however.
Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren listed as questionable ahead of Week 13
Through Week 12, Warren is third among all tight ends in receiving yards with 662 and fourth in receptions (55). At his current pace, he will have a bit more than 1,000 yards receiving for the season and 85 catches. He has been everything Indianapolis hoped he would be when he was chosen in the first round.
Except for one area that is not his fault. Warren has just three touchdown catches so far. He does have another rushing. While he has been a sure-handed receiver, he hasn't been a red zone threat. That might just take time for him to figure out how to find space near the end zone, and for the Colts to learn how to use him best.
Colts now have added TE Tyler Warren to their injury report due to an illness and he is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Assuming Tyler Warren does play in Week 13, the Texans are not going to make it easy for him. Houston has allowed the fifth-fewest receptions to tight ends this season (47), and the sixth-fewest receiving yards to TEs (443). The Texans have also given up just three receiving touchdowns to tight ends (second-least).
Still, the threat of Tyler Warren makes the Indianapolis Colts' offense better. While he was struggling with an illness ahead of Week 13, the hope is that he will play. Indy could certainly use the win to stay atop the AFC South and make the Texans' season that much more disappointing.
