Indianapolis Colts Week 8 injury report sees star players return
The Indianapolis Colts pulled themselves to a winning record after a hard-fought victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 7, but they'll have an even tougher battle ahead for Week 8, as they take on the Houston Texans. The current leaders of the AFC South are just one game ahead of the Colts, and it's a huge opportunity for the Colts to rewrite the narrative of the Texans as already-anointed champions of the division.
Unfortunately, the Colts have had quite a few injuries to contend with lately. Linebacker Jaylon Carlies was the latest to be hurt, as he left with an ankle injury during the Dolphins game. The Colts had already lost linebacker EJ Speed, as well as other injured defenders all placed on injured reserve - DeForest Buckner, Tyquan Lewis, Juju Brents, and Samson Ebukam.
Thankfully, there seem to be positive developments on the injury front as Buckner will be leaving injured reserve, and star running back Jonathan Taylor has returned to practice as well. It's a relief for Colts fans, who will certainly want to see their best players back on the field before taking on a series of tough opponents.
Here is the Colts' injury report for Week 8 after their Thursday practice.
