The Indianapolis Colts are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings during Sunday Night Football for Week 9, and it comes at a moment when the team is mired in controversy. Following the Colts' loss to the Houston Texans in Week 8, head coach Shane Steichen made the shocking decision to bench their starting quarterback, Anthony Richardson, and elevate veteran Joe Flacco to QB1.

This decision will have huge repercussions for the Colts, during this season and beyond. According to Steichen, Flacco gives the team the best chance at success through the rest of 2024. To be sure, their upcoming contest against the Vikings will be tough; Minnesota is one of the best teams in the league right now, and the Colts are floundering.

Even with Flacco, the Vikings are predicted to be the winners for Week 9. Can the Colts pull off an upset?
