So far, the Indianapolis Colts have been doing well in the offseason. During free agency, they landed to superstar defenders - Cam Bynum and Charvarius Ward - as well as running back Khalil Herbert and cornerback Corey Ballentine. Then in first round of the draft, they were miraculously able to land tight end Tyler Warren from Penn state - a monster athlete who was highly coveted by multiple teams. Tight end was a position of serious need for the Colts, so it made perfect sense that Indianapolis would snatch up Warren.

In the second round, they took DE JT Tuimaloau from Ohio State, someone who can provide more depth behind DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart, will likely pair well with Laiatu Latu. Tuimaloau is a strong athlete with a lot of versatility and talent, making him a good fit for Lou Anarumo's defense.

After all that, the Colts still need to find a linebacker, a safety, and a right guard. Would the third round pick be one of those?

The Colts round 3 pick is...

CB Justin Walley from Minnesota!

This was a necessary position to add some depth to; yes, the Colts now have Charvarius Ward, but otherwise, they don't have a major playmaker here. The other options as starters are Kenny Moore II and Samuel Womack III; they also have Juju Brents and Dallis Flowers, who have both struggled to remain healthy, and Jaylon Jones, who is good, but still young. Indianapolis can use someone to challenge Brents for his starting position, and Walley could do that.

Walley is known for his aggressiveness and ability to make big plays, and receivers going against him have had a hard time shaking him off. He has had some problems with inconsistency, and he's a bit small, but he's a decent prospect that some analysts have said is underrated. Now, he'll get his chance to prove himself in the NFL, and help rebuild the Colts struggling defense.
