Tennessee Titans – G Aaron Brewer

The Tennessee Titans and the Colts go back and forth when it comes to dominance of the AFC South. However, the Titans aren’t remiss from having bad players in their starting unit. Their offensive line has been a point of contention the last few seasons and that’s where we find the worst player on the Titans.

Aaron Brewer has had the inside track since being drafted by the Titans in 2020. He started one game his rookie season appearing in 12. Last season he started five appearing in 12 as well. Now in year three, he finds himself in the starting rotation.

This move seems to come more from necessity than ability. According to PFF, Brewer has declined in year two and that probably won’t change with getting more playing time. After posting an impressive 76.2 grade, albeit, in little action, he followed that up with a 57.9, a sharp decline after receiving more playing time.

Working against him is the man behind him on the depth chart, Jamarco Jones. After spending his first three years with the Seattle Seahawks, Jones joined the Titans on a two-year, $4.8 million contract. He has started at least two games every season and his PFF grade has increased every season going from 49 in year one to 56.9 in year three. That’s a point off of where Brewer is now, putting them in tight contention for the starting left guard position on the Titans line.
