With the final week of preseason games coming up, wide receiver TY Hilton is still not on a team. Where’s a good fit for the veteran?

With the regular season right around the corner, a familiar name to Indianapolis Colts fans still does not have a home. TY Hilton is not on a team’s roster for the first time in his 10-year career. Hilton, 32, has played his entire career in Indianapolis for the Colts. He was always a staple in the Colts’ offenses with Andrew Luck.

It is hard to believe that he is not on a team this far into the preseason, however, there have been some teams to express interest in TY Hilton. I feel like he will be on a roster at some point this season, so let’s talk about three teams that should or may target TY.

Could TY Hilton finish his career off in the Lone Star State with the Cowboys?

One team that I could see TY heading to is the Dallas Cowboys. Back in March, there had been some interest from Dallas in the 32-year-old receiver. The Cowboys lost Amari Cooper to the Browns and Michael Gallup will be sidelined with an injury for a few weeks to start the season. Hilton would be a good match in Dallas for Jerry Jones’ Cowboys. He would play alongside CeeDee Lamb and would have a role as a mentor, as well, with the young receiving core that Dallas has.

Now, a lot can change over the course of a few months, but according to this article, at some point, there was some interest between both parties. I believe Hilton would thrive in an offense with Dak Prescott at quarterback. Prescott has a good ability to move in the pocket and extend plays. This in turn gives Hilton a chance to be successful.

He always seems to find a gap in the defense, even if it is not there initially. I believe that this could pick up some steam depending on how the Cowboys’ receivers look the rest of the preseason.
