Colts must re-sign WR Ashton Dulin

No one in Indianapolis is closing the season with a better case to be re-signed than Ashton Dulin. The third-year receiver appears to have finally found a groove and is stacking quality performances together.

He has a touchdown in each of Indianapolis’ last two games, one long and one short, showing that he knows how to get himself open for Wentz to find.

Dulin should be easy to re-sign as he likely won’t command a lot of money or interest from other teams, but he’ll be beneficial for the Colts.

The only receiver that will surely be on the roster next season is Michael Pittman Jr. Long-time Colt TY Hilton will be a free agent and has spoken publicly about the possibility of retirement. Parris Campbell’s unfortunate injury history also brings his future with the team into question.

With the way Dulin is trending, it makes sense for Indianapolis to bring him back and allow him to continue his growth within the same system, while also providing the team some security at the position. If it all works out well, Dulin may develop into a real no. 2 receiver.

Indianapolis will have a ton of moves to make this offseason, but it should start with bringing back these three guys.
