The Indianapolis Colts are heading into Week 11 trending in the right direction in the latest Power Rankings.

Since their 1-4 start, the Indianapolis Colts have been gradually moving up power rankings, winning four of their last five games. The fashion in which Indianapolis beat the Jacksonville Jaguars caused some hesitation about their improvement, but still, they’re 5-5.

I think their record is a good representation of where Indianapolis stands. They aren’t as good as the league’s best teams, but they’re still better than the worst. They’ve found success on the ground and on defense by forcing turnovers, but every other aspect has been inconsistent for the team.

As of right now, the Colts are a middle of the pack team, but they have the power to change that. They are entering the sink or swim part of the schedule and the coming weeks will determine the fate of this season for Indianapolis.

Where the Colts rank across expert Power Rankings

Reading through the Power Rankings of four different sites, Indianapolis’ standing in the league is nearly a consensus. With an average ranking of 15, everyone agrees that the Colts are a part of the middle grouping of teams. Here’s each site’s ranking and why they feel that’s where Indianapolis belongs.

ESPN has the Colts at 16 in their latest Power Rankings, three spots improved from last week. They see Indianapolis’ playoff hopes coming down to the Week 15 matchup against the Patriots.

The official NFL site has Indianapolis ranked 15, a three-spot jump from 18 in Week 10. The experts had concerns about the Colts offense after they struggled against the Jaguars.

FanSided has Indianapolis at 15, just two spots higher than last week’s ranking of 17. The fashion in which they beat Jacksonville is worrisome as the team heads to Buffalo.

CBS Sports has Indianapolis at 14, another three-spot jump. While this is the highest ranking, they express the same concern about the Jaguars game and wonder how the offense will fare against the Bills.

Colts’ Super Bowl odds entering Week 11

At 5-5, the Colts are a long way from the Super Bowl, and oddsmakers agree. According to WynnBET, Indianapolis has +5000 odds to win the Super Bowl. Similar to their Power Rankings, that’s the 14th-best odds in the NFL.

The franchise with the best odds are the Buffalo Bills at +550, the team the Colts will play on Sunday. If either franchise wants to help bettors cash in, they’ll need to start by winning the game this weekend.
