Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. TCU. player. DT. RossBlacklock. 34. 46

On the defensive line, the Colts struggled to get push up front and move the pocket around. That could be fixed with a strong defensive tackle like Ross Blacklock. Blacklock is 6’4 305 lbs, so he can make the quarterback move around if he bull rushes.

Blacklock had 15.5 tackles for loss in his career and added 5.5 sacks. Indy doesn’t need him to get a ton of sacks, but they would need him to move the pocket around so others can get sacks. Forcing someone to roll out of the pocket makes Justin Houston lick his chops.

Tight ends are a big part of the Colts offense, and Eric Ebron will be peacing out this offseason. That leaves the offense with a need to get another tight end opposite of Jack Doyle. Albert Okwuegbunam would be the answer to that need.

We had him going in the second round in our last mock draft as well. Over three years at Missouri, he caught 23 touchdown passes, meaning he is a big red zone threat. Ebron was that threat in 2018 when he caught 13 touchdowns. Okwuegbunam gives them that big target Brissett likes.

Speaking of Brissett, he will likely enter the season as the starting quarterback. But Indy might draft his potential replacement later in the draft if the right guy is available.
