Indianapolis Colts NFL Draft Grades: Rounds 6 and 7
By Andrew Ites
Round 7, 235th Overall Pick: LB Zaire Franklin
Chris Ballard decided to pick up another linebacker in the seventh round in Syracuse’s Zaire Franklin.
Franklin had two seasons of 10+ tackles for loss in college. He was fairly inconsistent at Syracuse, but I think he has a higher upside than the Colts’ first pick in the seventh round.
It’s highly unlikely that Franklin will become an NFL contributor, but I don’t mind taking a chance on him with the final pick.
