BetDSI is currently taking bets on will be the 2019 and 2020 Super Bowl champions. What are the Colts’ odds for the next two seasons?

The Colts are coming off of a 4-12 season where their Super Bowl odds were slim to none after it was announced that Andrew Luck would sit out the rest of the year.

Indianapolis is one of the most difficult teams to predict with uncertainty at head coach and at quarterback. BetDSI isn’t giving the Colts a great shot to win the Super Bowl next season, but their odds are better in 2020.

The Colts currently sit at 40/1 (bet $1 to win $40) to win Super Bowl 53, and BetDSI lists the odds at 22/1 (bet $1 to win $22) for Indianapolis to take home the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 54.

There are 19 teams who have better odds than the Colts to win the Super Bowl next season, but there are only 14 teams ahead of Indianapolis on BetDSI’s list of Super Bowl odds for 2020.

Next year will be a year of transition with Andrew Luck coming back from a serious injury and Josh McDaniels entering his first year as head coach in Indianapolis. So it seems reasonable that the Colts’ odds would be better in 2020 than they are next year.

While 40/1 seems like a longshot, you could’ve placed a bet on the Eagles with similar odds to win the Super Bowl before the beginning of last season. With a ton of cap room, a high draft pick, and a hopefully-healthy franchise quarterback next season, it may be worth it to put a couple bucks on the Colts taking home the trophy in Super Bowl 53.
