The Texans will be looking for revenge after losing to the Colts in Week 9. Will Indianapolis be able to complete the season sweep over their division rivals from Houston?
The Colts picked up one of their three wins this season with a 20-14 victory over the Texans in Houston. Both of these teams have combined for just one win since their Week 9 matchup as each of these fanbases have begun to look forward to 2018.
Indianapolis and Houston have both had to deal with devastating injuries at the quarterback position.
Andrew Luck was only able to practice for a few times this year before he was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Deshaun Watson was beginning to look like the Rookie of the Year before he suffered a non-contact ACL injury in practice. The Texans are down to their third-string quarterback after Tom Savage was ruled out for the rest of the year with a concussion.
Houston will be sending their 2018 first round pick to Cleveland as a part of the trade that got them Deshaun Watson last offseason, so they don’t have any incentive to lose this game. However, Indianapolis has looked like the better team over the past couple of weeks as the Texans have completely fallen apart.
The Colts’ players would like to end this ugly 2017 season on a high note with a win in front of their home fans on Sunday, even if it may have a negative effect on their 2018 draft pick.
