Colts Injury Report: Ryan Kelly and Donte Moncrief Ruled Out
By Andrew Ites
Wednesday was the final day of preparation before Thursday night’s matchup with the Broncos. The final injury report was a painful one for the Colts as many of their key players were officially ruled out.
Center Ryan Kelly
After missing the past two games with a concussion, it looked like Ryan Kelly was on track to play this week after practicing in full on Monday and Tuesday. However, Wednesday’s injury report provided some bad news as he did not practice and was officially ruled out for Thursday night’s game.
Jacoby Brissett will have to line up behind a backup center for the third week in a row against an elite defensive line.
Wide Receiver Donte Moncrief
Donte Moncrief was unable to practice at all this week after missing the game in Buffalo on Sunday, so it was not a surprise that the Colts ruled him out for Thursday’s game. Moncrief needed some big performances to earn a contract extension this offseason, but he’ll have to watch this game from the sidelines for the second week in a row.

Cornerback Rashaan Melvin
Rashaan Melvin gave Colts fans a glimmer of hope that he would be available this week after missing the past two games by practicing in a limited fashion on Tuesday. Melvin participated in a limited practice again on Wednesday, but he will be sidelined for the third week in a row on Thursday night.
Cornerback Nate Hairston
The Colts will be without another one of their top defensive backs as Nate Hairston will miss Thursday’s game with a concussion. Rookie cornerback Quincy Wilson played well last week, and he’ll be expected to step up again on Thursday night.
