Colts Injury Report: Donte Moncrief DNP, Ryan Kelly Full Participant
By Andrew Ites
Thursday’s injury report provides a positive update on Ryan Kelly, but Donte Moncrief is still struggling with a sore ankle.
Wide Receiver Donte Moncrief
Donte Moncrief has had a pretty disappointing 2017 season thus far, and he has a lot to prove over the Colts’ final four games of the year if he wants to earn a contract extension.
Moncrief missed Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury, and he was sidelined for Thursday’s practice as well. He probably needs to get in some sort of work on Friday if he wants to suit up for Sunday’s game in Buffalo.

Center Ryan Kelly
Ryan Kelly was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice as he continues to progress through the NFL’s concussion protocol. He took the next step in his recovery process by getting in a full practice on Thursday.
He should be good to go for Sunday’s game after missing last week’s trip to Jacksonville.
Defensive Tackle Johnathan Hankins
Hankins missed Wednesday’s practice with a chest injury, but he was able to get in some limited work on Thursday.
He’s been a key piece of the Colts’ 13th-ranked run defense this season, and Indianapolis will need him in the trenches to shut down the Bills’ rushing attack this week.

Cornerback Rashaan Melvin
Unsurprisingly, cornerback Rashaan Melvin was listed as out for Thursday’s practice after missing practice on Wednesday as well. It’s extremely unlikely that Melvin would be able to return for this week’s game, and his status for the rest of the season is still up in the air.
