The Colts take on another divisional opponent as they welcome the division-leading Jacksonville Jaguars into Lucas Oil Stadium.
Indianapolis currently sits alone in last place in the AFC South, but they’re only one game back of every other team in the division as the Texans, Titans and Jags are all tied at 3-3.
The Jaguars have had a roller coaster season thus far as they’ve alternated outstanding performances with disappointing ones all year long. Jacksonville is coming off of a loss to the Rams last week, so they could be due for a bounce back this Sunday.
The Jags’ pass defense currently ranks number one in the league according to Football Outsiders, and they’ll present a huge challenge for Jacoby Brissett as he makes his eighth NFL start.
The Colts’ secondary really struggled in Monday night’s loss to the Titans, but they’ll have an advantageous matchup against a Jacksonville offense with Blake Bortles under center.

The Colts have also benefitted greatly from their home field advantage this season. They’re 2-1 at Lucas Oil Stadium this season, and they’re an overtime interception away from being undefeated at home.
Indianapolis still has everything to play for even though they only have two wins through the first six games. However, they badly need a win against an improved Jaguars team if they want to keep their season alive and move up from the basement of the AFC South.
