We’ve spent the past week (and months) preparing for the upcoming draft. We’ve broken down the list of needs for the team, and also took a look at a number of players who might be available (and a good fit) for the team in the first round tonight. We also took a look at what is in store for the offseason around the draft and what fans should be paying attention to.
There has been a lot of buzz in the past couple days about the Colts targeting Alabama center Ryan Kelly in the first round this evening. However any speculation comes with a healthy dose of skepticism, and it might all just be a ruse.
Heading into tonight, we know what the team’s approach is going to be. They’ll take the best player available according to their big board (and not what Scouts Inc or whoever says). GM Ryan Grigson spoke at length about the thought process a week ago and how the team has to nail the draft this time around.
We’ll keep you up to date on all of the Colts picks, potential trades, and how the players taken will fit with the team. Make sure to follow @HorseshoeHeroes, Evan Reller, and Luke Schultheis for your Colts coverage tonight.
