Colts GM says that Andrew Luck is “Fine”
By Evan Reller
Colts QB Luck says he isn’t quite 100 percent, but his GM pounded home the fact that he is doing better than he’s letting on.
The Indianapolis Colts returned to town for voluntary workouts this week. On Monday, Andrew Luck spoke to the media and said that he wasn’t completely healthy after his injury plagued season. There was minor panic, but with months to go before even the first preseason game it wasn’t much cause for concern.
Today, speaking at his pre-draft press conference, GM Ryan Grigson said that Luck is fine. Grigson cut off the question and was adamant that Luck is in fact healthy.
“Let me cut you off, he’s (Luck) fine.” Grigson said. “He’s meticulously going through his strength and rehab process to a T.”

Luck has a specific rehab plan that he’s apparently been on for some time. We know that Luck is a bit of a perfectionist and nothing is ever quite good enough for him. He’d probably focus on one bad play after winning the Super Bowl rather than celebrate.
Anything that slows down his normal routine or make him feel as if he isn’t 100 percent is going to make him a bit cagey. Luck might just be frustrated he can’t go full tilt in his workouts and is being held back, at least in part, by the training staff.
Considering the time before camp starts there was never a reason to be concerned and with Grigson shooting down any concerns about his health it reiterates those facts. Luck will be ready to go by July’s camp, if not sooner, and there isn’t anything to be worried about.
