Colts at Jaguars Injury Report: Luck Status Unknown
The Indianapolis Colts face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday and we have the latest injury updates for both teams.
The Colts are set to hit the road and face the Jaguars but will once again do so without Andrew Luck. While the fourth year QB has made progress, he has still not been cleared for practice. Luck was throwing passes and doing conditioning work today, but wasn’t in pads. The earliest he might return would be next week against the Texans.
Matt Hasselbeck showed up on the injury report with a sore neck and back. On Monday, coach Chuck Pagano stated he had a rib injury as well. Regardless, Hasselbeck was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Outside linebacker Erik Walden was seen in a walking boot today and obviously missed practice. He has been limited the past few weeks with a foot injury, but has still managed to play every Sunday.

Tackle Anthony Castonzo is still battling a sprained knee and was out today. He is listed as week-to-week but hasn’t ruled out playing against the Jags.
The Colts were forced to put middle linebacker Nate Irving on IR after a season ending wrist injury, testing the already thin depth chart at the position. To make matters worse, both starting middle linebackers were out today. Jerrell Freeman is still recovering from a grade II sprain of his hamstring and D’Qwell Jackson was out with a quad injury.
Corner back Greg Toler was limited on Wednesday with a knee injury.
Wide receiver Griff Whalen (hamstring) and safety Colt Anderson (ankle) were new additions to the injury report this week and both players sat out practice.
In positive injury news, rookie receiver Phillip Dorsett returned to practice today after having surgery to repair an injury to his ankle. It remains to be seen if he’ll play on Sunday, but his odds are pretty good. Guard Hugh Thornton also returned to practice after missing last week’s game with an elbow injury.
