Okay, so this one may very well make me the “king of wishful thinking”:
However, it’s possible that the best player to replace Arthur Jones is well…Arthur Jones himself. It’s possible that Jones may not be out for the entire season, and that the Colts could elect to place him on short-term Injured Reserve with a designation to return after at least 8 weeks.
Again, the Colts are still contemplating their roster options regarding Jones, and it’s possible that we could potentially see the big man back starting for the team before the season’s all said and done.
Yes, color me naive.
