Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck connected with his 1st touchdown of the preseason on a 32-yard scoring strike to a wide open Andre Johnson.
It was no doubt a great play for the Colts, but it begs the question of how the St. Louis secondary could leave the gigantic 6’3″, 230 pound Johnson seemingly uncovered streaking down the middle of the field:

The future Hall of Famer has 1,012 career receptions and 64 touchdowns respectively, and a defense forgets to place a body on him?
Sure. Don't cover Andre Johnson. He's the big guy. No. 81. 26 TD

Obviously, it wasn’t the St. Louis secondary’s finest play right there and botched coverage assignments happen, just normally not against such a highly accomplished wideout like Johnson.
The second smartest decision on the play, after Luck decided to throw to a wide open Johnson of course, was when the Rams cornerback made a “business decision” during a half-hearted tackling attempt at the monstrous Johnson–who was running full-steam toward the end zone:
That Rams' CB made a business decision not to get trucked by Andre Johnson in a preseason game. #Colts

For Luck and Johnson, it figures to be the first of many touchdowns for this formidable QB-to-WR combination. The others will likely be a bit more contested however.
