NFL Draft ‘Day 2’: Best Available Players for Colts
While the Indianapolis Colts 1st round selection of Miami Hurricanes wideout Phillip Dorsett wasn’t exactly a popular pick, fortunately the team still has 8 more selections in this year’s NFL Draft to address their defense and pacify concerns, including “Day 2”: Round 2-3 selections.
Below are some of the best available prospects at each position:

2. Brett Hundley, UCLA
3. Sean Mannion, Oregon State
4. Garrett Grayson, Colorado State
5. Cody Fajardo, Nevada

1. Eric Rowe, Utah
2. Jalen Collins, LSU
3. Ronald Darby, Florida State
4. Quinten Rollins, Miami (OH.)
5. D’Joun Smith, Florida Atlantic
Safeties:
1. Landon Collins, Alabama
2. Eric Rowe, Utah
3. Jaquiski Tartt, Samford
4. Derron Smith, Fresno State
5. Adrian Amos, Penn State
Obviously, defense should remain a high priority for the team. While it’s highly unlikely that a prized prospect like Alabama’s Landon Collins, UCLA’s Eric Kendricks, Florida State’s Eddie Goldman, or Nebraska’s Randy Gregory fall to the Colts at pick #61 overall, stranger things have happened. Trade-ups always remain a possibility. If yesterday was any indication, the Colts 2nd and 3rd round selections should be interesting to say the least.
