Week 17, January 3rd: vs. Titans, 1 PM EST on CBS (Sunday)
The Tennessee Titans struggled last season to the tune of a 2-14 pick. Fortunately, this means that they’ve been bestowed the #2 overall pick, where the team faces a tough decision to take or to not take a top quarterback like perhaps Oregon’s Marcus Mariota‘s to become their new face of the franchise.
Either way, like the Jacksonville Jaguars, the odds are against the Titans upsetting the Colts at home. Still, with either the returning Zach Mettenberger or perhaps Marcus Mariota under center, the Titans figure to be at least pretty entertaining next year, even if they don’t figure to have a winning team again. The defense features the always dangerous Jurrell Casey along the defensive line, in what should be an improved defensive unit under its new coordinator in Dick LeBeau.
The Colts won this matchup last season 41-17 in Week 4.
