How much more the Indianapolis Colts can do to prove to the people who still doubt the team is unknown. Maybe nothing. Head coach Shane Steichen's team is 8-2, tied for the fewest losses in the NFL, and seemingly firmly in first place in the AFC East. Indy is playoff-bound.
One would think the team is easily among the ten best teams in the league. Their record says that, and the Colts have beaten some good teams, including the Denver Broncos. But all-time great Tom Brady does not believe Indianapolis is in the top third of the NFL. Where he would rank them is unknown.
Every week, Brady, now a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and an in-game analyst for FOX, ranks his top ten. In his one ahead of Week 12, Indy is nowhere to be found. That said, the Colts' Week 12 opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs, is No. 10 on the list. Mind you, KC is 5-5, three games worse than Indianapolis.
Tom Brady takes a new swipe at the Indianapolis Colts
Maybe Brady is just upset that Colts Hall of Famer Peyton Manning leads him in their head-to-head playoff matchups 3-2. While the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is indisputably one of the best players ever, Manning was one of the biggest thorns in his side.
Perhaps Brady simply has a bit too much love for the Chiefs, who have been elite for many years now, but are 0-5 in one-score games this season. Kansas City is inconsistent defensively and offensively, and, again, well behind the Colts in the AFC playoff standings.
Is this @TomBrady’s most controversial Power Rankings to date?

As part of Brady's talk about his rankings, he asks fans to visualize Patrick Mahomes having the ball in the cold of January and implying Mahomes cannot be beaten. The thing that Brady appears to be forgetting is that if the season were to end before Week 12, the Chiefs wouldn't be in the playoffs this season.
Plus, there is a very good reason that KC will be 5-6 after Week 12, and that is that the 2025 Indianapolis Colts are simply a better team than KC is this season. If quarterback Daniel Jones avoids his recent trend of turning the ball over, Indy could win easily.
To be fair, maybe Tom Brady simply knows he is blowing smoke because he begins talking about his new list of the "top ten" teams by saying the list is his most controversial yet. It is solely because he leaves off the Indianapolis Colts. Ultimately, that makes his entire top ten a meaningless bit of nonsense.
