Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly has been named one of five finalists for the NFL Players Association's (NFLPA ) 2025 Alan Page Community Award. Kelly, who may be looking at his last season with the Colts, was named the Week 13 MVP after hosting a community baby shower for families in Indianapolis. “It means the world to be nominated for this award and to win it,” the Kelly said at the time. “I know there are a lot of great people out there doing a lot of great work. This was our true passion project.”

Kelly and his wife, Emma, notably lost their first child, Mary Kate, to stillbirth in 2021. The Kellys have since become dedicated advocates for pregnancy health, and raising awareness about miscarriage and stillbirth prevention.

During their community baby shower, Kelly partnered with Healthy Birth Day, a non-profit organization focused on stillbirth prevention, and its Count the Kicks campaign, which teaches pregnant mothers how to track and recognize the movements their babies are making, and what could be potential signs of trouble. Held at the Colts facility, the baby shower included numerous local organizations providing guidance a variety of pregnancy- and family-related topics, ranging from insurance and WIC benefits, to car seat safety and information about local hospitals.

"The more that we do for people and realize how gifted that we've been through support from them, to give back to them always means so much," Kelly said at the baby shower. "And it just kind of ties us even closer to the community, which I always love."

As a finalist, Kelly will receive a $10,000 donation to the charity of his choice from the NFLPA; the winner of the Alan Page Community Award will receive an additional $100,000 donation. The award is the highest honor that the NFLPA can give a player, who is recognized for going above and beyond to perform community service. The winner will be determined through a league-wide vote, with the results announced on February 5 at the NFLPA’s annual Super Bowl press conference in New Orleans.
