How do the uniforms for the Indianapolis Colts compare to the uniforms for the other 31 teams in the NFL?

It’s the offseason. The NFL calendar is currently in the dead-spot between the end of OTAs and minicamp, and the start of training camp. Soon, all teams will be back in their respective facilities preparing for the 2023 season. Until then, it’s the perfect time to analyze everything.

All offseason, there have been countless rankings. Various media members have ranked teams, coaches, positions, fans, and anything else you can think of. One of the most recent NFL rankings was a ranking of all 32 teams’ uniforms.

The 33rd Team recently ranked all the uniforms. Well, actually ChatGPT did the ranking. The 33rd Team asked the artificial intelligence technology to rank teams by their uniforms. The outcome was a ranking that had the Indianapolis Colts at No. 17, thanks to their uniforms. Indy finished with the best ranking in the AFC South, with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans finishing last.

Indianapolis keeps it pretty simple with the uniforms: blue jersey, white pants, and a white helmet with the horseshoe. Any changes that the Colts have made throughout the years have been relatively minor. Additionally, the only alternate uniforms that Indy wears are throwbacks.

There have been some fans who’ve been vocal about the team debuting an alternate uniform that contains a dark gray or black. With different designs and photoshops floating around the internet, it’s certainly a concept that could be cool, but it seems pretty unlikely.

In the meantime, fans will have to be happy with the traditional blue and white uniforms. The key to making the uniforms look especially good is winning. Everything looks good win a team is winning a lot of games. Let’s see if the Colts can do that in 2023.
