The Indianapolis Colts hold the 15th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. What they decide to do with that pick is anyone's guess but the good news is that they improved from their 2022 performance, going from holding the fourth overall pick to the 15th pick. The bad news is that this means fans will have to wait longer to find out who the Colts are drafting than they did a year ago.

The Colts just missed out on the postseason in 2023. Their first-round pick, Anthony Richardson who they took fourth overall, showed potential before sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury. Even with Richardson banged up, the team showed a lot of heart and barely missed the playoffs. Now they'll have to use their first-round draft choice to add someone who can step in and help this team close the gap and make a playoff appearance.

For those fans who don't want to watch the entire draft, what time should they expect the Colts to be on the clock in the first round of the 2024 draft?

What time will the Indianapolis Colts be on the clock in the 2024 NFL Draft?

We obviously can't tell the future so this is all speculative and based on past drafts. Considering that each team has 10 minutes to make their pick in the first round, it'll likely be at least two hours before the Colts are on the clock.

Last year, the New York Jets held the 15th pick in the draft and their Twitter account first posted about them selecting Will McDonald at 10:23 PM EST. The 2023 draft began at 8:00 PM EST so it took nearly two and a half hours for the 15th selection to be made.

Again, no one is sure of how quickly the draft moves in any given year but this is an approximate time of when the 15th pick will be made in 2024. Colts fans who don't care about the first 14 picks should plan to tune in starting around 10:00 PM EST to make sure they don't miss Indy's first-round selection.
