2. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars still have plenty of time – and talent – to turn things around after an underwhelming 2023 season, but the clock's ticking for them in a way that no other AFC South team has to deal with currently. Lawrence's rookie contract is almost up, and things typically get a lot harder for NFL teams once they're paying their QBs market rate, even if those QBs are worth every penny – which Lawrence is. There are already plenty of questions about Doug Pederson's future in Jacksonville, which surely won't get any quieter if the Jags get off to a slow start next season. All that being said, they have more than enough talent to bounce back, and outside of a truly disastrous season, will probably be playing meaningful division games in December.
