Sundays are for football, and nothing is more exciting on gameday than seeing the Indianapolis Colts play at Lucas Oil Stadium. And for 2024, the team is making sure the gameday experience is the best it can be - and that means a new food menu that is sure to keep fans happy.
In a press release last month, the team detailed what fans can expect to see when they show up to cheer on their team. "I love this city," Executive Chef Ryan Robinson said during the team's culinary showcase. "I love the people, I love the team, and I'll tell you it's a sleeper community as far as cuisine goes. Because I've had some awesome food in these restaurants. So that's inspired me, that's inspired our team to really push the envelope and to really push the items that we're offering you all to the next level."
The Colts and Lucas Oil Stadium are already known for having some of the best food in the NFL; they were voted for food and beverage experience in 2023, and the goal is for 2024 to be even better. That includes starting a new culinary garden, which will grows herbs like lavender, thyme, rosemary, and more onsite, all of which can be used for food and beverage items in the stadium. "We're partnering with the stadium with their sustainability initiative," Robinson said. "Eventually, we want to evolve this into something that could possible provide a good portion of the produce that we use in this facility."
As for the menu, one of the most exciting offerings is the stadium's new "Load In Fries." Fans will be able to get hot, freshly made fries exactly the way they want them, with savory and sweet flavor combinations like Buffalo Chicken, Korean BBQ Pork, Cheesesteak, Vegan Street Style, S'mores, and more. Here are some of the other new offerings fans can look forward to this year:
The Ringer
Footlong corn dog coated in honey and rolled in blue Taki crumbs
Pretzel Twist
Fluffy Milwaukee Pretzel Co. Traditional pretzel twist
Endzone Mac
Mac n' cheese with pulled pork, topped with jalapeños, green onions, bacon bits and a choice of BBQ sauce, buffalo sauce or ranch

There are also numerous new suite items, as well as themed nachos based on the teams the Colts will be playing; for example, there will be Beef Barbacoa Nachos when the Colts play the Texans, Cuban Nachos against the Dolphins, Nashville Inspired Hot Chicken Nachos against the Titans, and Creole Shrimp Nachos against the Jaguars. There will also be new souvenir cups fans can buy, which will not only serve as a reminder of their gameday experience, but also cut down on trash volume by an expected 50%.
“Our partners at Sodexo Live! and Lucas Oil Stadium have done a fantastic job curating a memorable menu that also embodies our home city and state," Roger VanDerSnick, Colts chief sales and marketing officer, told WTHR. "We can’t wait for Colts fans and guests to experience this new and elevated fare.”
