New Names To The Practice Squad

DT McTelvin Agim

Agim returns to the locker room after being a part of this practice squad for several months last season. He spent some time with the Texans on a futures deal this past preseason. This continues Ballard’s approach of having and maintaining depth on both lines of scrimmage.

TE Sean McKeon

No surprise here as the Colts finally bring in some more depth at tight end after another season ending injury for Jelani Woods. McKeon comes from Dallas and Detroit where he did see some playing on Sundays but nothing of note.

OG Antonio Mafi

A small surprise cut from New England allows the Colts to bring in some key depth on the offensive line. Mafi made 5 starts last season and saw action in all 17 games with New England. This does not rectify the youth depth but grabbing a player that saw snaps in every game as a rookie is understandably justified.

CB David Long Jr

Colts able to grab another DB for the backend of the roster. He has bounced around and this will be his 6th team since he was drafted 79th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Michigan. He brings 66 career games and 12 starts during his tenure as an NFL player.
