The Indianapolis Colts will look to put some separation between them and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC playoff race on Saturday afternoon.

The Colts had their four-game win streak snapped in a blowout loss to the Bengals last week, but they have a great opportunity to pick up an H2H win over the Steelers, who have gone 1-3 in their last four games.

Indianapolis opened as a 2.5-point home favorite over Pittsburgh for Saturday's must-win game for both teams.

Below, we’ll break down this Week 15 AFC matchup and provide our best bet.

Steelers vs. Colts Key Players to Watch

Pittsburgh Steelers

Mitch Trubisky: The veteran quarterback wasn’t great in last week’s disappointing loss to the Patriots. Trubisky completed 22-of-35 passes for 190 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He also made crucial mistakes, such as throwing a deep pass on 4th and 2 in the fourth quarter, instead of trying to keep the chains moving. Trubisky was also the Steelers’ leading rusher with 30 yards and a touchdown, which isn’t what you want to see. He will try to rebound against the Colts’ defense, which got carved up by Bengals QB Jake Browning last week.

Indianapolis Colts

Zack Moss: With Jonathan Taylor still banged up, the Colts will continue to lean on Moss. The 25-year-old running back was held to 28 yards on 13 carries by Cincinnati last week, but he had four receptions (eight targets) for 28 yards. The good news for Moss is that he has a favorable matchup against the Steelers’ defense. Pittsburgh allows 117.8 rushing yards per game this season, but they’ve improved drastically over the past three games (85.3).

Steelers vs. Colts Prediction and Pick

Even though these two teams have the same record, they are trending in opposite directions. The Steelers have dropped three out of their last four games, losing to teams such as the Pats and Cardinals. Meanwhile, the Colts had their four-game winning streak snapped by Cincinnati.

The Bengals punched the Colts in the mouth last week and dominated them in the second half. Indianapolis can’t let that happen again on Saturday against a Steelers’ team struggling offensively and could be missing its best pass rushers (Watt and Highsmith).

Indianapolis hasn’t played its best football at home this season (2-4). However, the last time we saw them in front of the home crowd, they defeated the Buccaneers by seven points. The Colts have the edge at QB with Gardner Minshew II, but he has to limit the turnovers (three interceptions in the last four games).

If Minshew plays a turnover-free game and the Colts can get the ground attack going with Moss, they will win on Saturday. Pittsburgh has been outplayed over the last few weeks and is not playing complimentary football.
