The Indianapolis Colts' last 10 first-round draft picks have consisted of two quarterbacks, three offensive linemen, one wide receiver, three defensive linemen, and one safety. With the Colts not having a first-round pick every single year, the last 10 Colts first-round picks date back to the 2010 NFL Draft.

Let's rank each of the last 10 first-round picks for Indianapolis.

10. Bjoern Werner (Drafted 24th overall in 2013 NFL Draft)

The 2013 NFL Draft is widely considered one of the worst drafts in NFL history and when seeing who the Colts spent a first-round pick on, it makes sense. Bjoern Werner, who the Colts spent the 24th overall pick on the Florida State defensive end, only spent three years in the NFL, all of which were in Indianapolis.

Werner looked like a bust early in his career, as it took the first-round pick 15 weeks to notch his first career sack. He finished his rookie campaign with just 2.5 sacks and didn't improve much in year 2, notching just 4.0 sacks. Werner didn't get a single sack during year 3 and was released in the 2016 offseason.

9. Phillip Dorsett (Drafted 29th overall in 2015 NFL Draft)

It was a bit of a surprise when the Colts opted to spend a first-round pick on Phillip Dorsett in the 2015 NFL Draft considering the talent they had offensively at that point. Even still, they added Dorsett and the Miami wide receiver struggled to become much of anything in Indy.

Dorsett only spent two years with the Colts and never was the pass-catching threat the Colts expected him to be when they spent a first-round pick on him. He had just 225 yards and one touchdown in 11 games as a rookie in 2015 and then had 528 yards and two touchdowns in 15 starts in 2016.

The Colts traded Dorsett to the Patriots in the 2017 offseason and won a Super Bowl with them in the 2018 season. That being said, it's hard to deny how much of a bust Dorsett was for the Colts even if he's still in the league, as of this writing.
