With the 2024 NFL Draft completed, lets predict what the 53-man roster will look like for the Indianapolis Colts as they start rookie minicamp.

Safety (5)

Roster Locks: Julian Blackmon, Rodney Thomas II, Nick Cross, Daniel Scott, Ronnie Harrison Jr
Practice Squad: Kendall Brooks, Micheal Tutsie
Roster Cuts: Trevor Denbow

This is the current group, but I do think the franchise looks to add to this group as we approach training camp. Blackmon was the standout of the group (before injury) while the rest of the group has shown some inconsistency this past season. This is a make-or-break year for Nick Cross. And look for Ronnie Harrison to play both linebacker and safety in a hybrid role. Trevor Denbow’s role on special teams will be taken by Daniel Scott this season.

Roster Locks: Matt Gay, Rigoberto Sanchez, Luke Rhodes
Practice Squad: None
Roster Cuts: Spencer Shrader

This crew will continue as normal this season. Shrader gets an invite for camp to get some NFL reps, but Matt Gay is one of the highest paid kickers in the league and will be the kicker for the foreseeable future.
