Wide Receiver (6)

Roster Locks: Micheal Pittman Jr, Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, Adonai Mitchell, Ashton Dulin, Anthony Gould
Practice Squad: DJ Montgomery, Ethan Fernea, Xavier White
Roster Cuts: Tyrell Bynum, Juwann Winfree, Tyrie Cleveland

Pittman returns as the heavy volume receiver after signing a fresh three-year contract. The Colts drafted Mitchell and Gould to add some explosiveness to the WR room. Mitchell will carve out a role with this team over the offseason workouts and look for Gould and Dulin to have an impact in the return game with the new kick return rules, which will allow Josh Downs to step away from special teams.

Expect this to be a make-or-break year for Pierce but having Richardson back will allow the vertical passing game to return, which is his strength. Montgomery has earned a chance on the practice squad with his strong performance at the end of the season.

Tight End (4)

Roster Locks: Jelani Woods, Kylen Granson, Will Mallory, Drew Ogletree
Practice Squad: Jordan Murray
Roster Cuts: Eric Tomlinson, Mo Alie-Cox, Trent Pennix

Another really crowded room shrinks a bit with MAC getting cut or maybe traded but think he will be released early so he can latch onto another team in need of veteran depth. Jelani Woods hopes to return from his injury plagued sophomore season. Granson, in a contract year, will return as the starter as he can both block and catch. Mallory and Ogletree return and will look to separate themselves and start to build a role within the team. All have talent in this room but what will they do to stand out on this team will be the focal point this season.
