5 low risk free agents Colts could sign for training camp

Ronald Darby, CB
Speaking of the defense, one of the areas fans would have really liked to see the Colts address is at cornerback. The cornerback group features a multitude of youth in Indianapolis, which can be a great thing, but also means they're lacking some leadership and experience.
This year's second-round pick JuJu Brents might end up becoming a stud, but fellow starter Dallas Flowers should not be seeing anywhere close to the amount of playing time he's likely to see this year. The Colts should go out and sign veteran cornerback Ronald Darby to come in and take his spot, making Flowers a reserve instead.
Now, Darby is coming off a season-ending ACL injury which he suffered in October last year. So, he very well might not be completely healthy or ready for a full workload. But, getting him into the building and acclimated with the defense, the scheme and everything would be a start.
Darby has been a good cornerback in this league for a few years now. Like Ngakoue, he's never been a Pro Bowl type player. But, he's been consistent enough to where he warrants having a job still.
