5 low risk free agents Colts could sign for training camp

Yannick Ngakoue, EDGE
They say a quarterback's best friend is either his left tackle or a great defense, and the Colts could not make a bad decision by bringing back a famiilar face. Surprisingly, defensive end Yannick Ngakoue is still out there in the free agent pool. He might just be the best available free agent, overall, right now.
Where else can you get a pass rusher, under the age of 30, who has never finished a season under 8.0 sacks in seven years played? Somehow, Ngakoue is now looking for what might be his sixth NFL team since entering the league back in 2016. Yet, he's finished in double-digit sacks twice in his career and amassed over 20 quarterback hits in three separate seasons, to boot.
But, again, the consistency has been there. He is as good as it gets for being a non-Pro Bowl type of player. Like many others on this list, he would have to come at a discount because of how late in the offseason it is, too.
Ngakoue would join a group that features Kwity Paye and Samson Ebukam as the team's starters, and would likely get plenty of run as a rotational rusher if not take over one of the starting spots. This Colts defense could rise back up to being one of the more sneaky units in the league, but adding a player like Ngakoue could ensure they get to that point.
