As NFL training camps begin to kick off, teams will be looking to fill out their rosters even more.
Camps will see their fair share of injuries take place, but teams are also now down to the wire when looking at their roster needs.
As for the Indianapolis Colts, who are some veteran free agents they could look to sign before camp? Better yet, these are guys who would be a low risk to sign, and mostly due to cost. Let's kick it off with a big area of need.
Dalton Risner, G
How this guy is not signed is completely beyond me. Dalton Risner has been a consistently good guard in the NFL over the past few years, and he's still only 28 years old. Risner spent the first four years of his career with the Denver Broncos, but for some reason has not been signed yet this offseason.
He is more of a pass-blocking specialist, which would help balance out the Colts' interior greatly. Obviously, Quenton Nelson is a run-blocking force; a total menace. But, the Colts have a huge need to solidify the other guard spot, which is far from solidified at the moment.
Neither Will Fries or Danny Pinter are cut out to be starters in this league, and the fact Indianapolis hasn't addressed the right guard position in a great way this offseason will go down as one of the bigger disappointments for fans.
Having a raw, rookie quarterback like Anthony Richardson, the Colts have to do everything possible to fortify the line, and Risner is still out there for the taking. They need to make it happen.
