Week 5: Indianapolis Colts (3-1) @ Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 6

The biggest mental block for this team is playing and winning in Jacksonville. The last time the Colts won in Jacksonville was in 2014 with a 44-17 victory. Since then, they have not only lost in Jacksonville but also, at times, have been dominated. I don’t see it changing this season as the Colts come off a consuming win against Pittsburgh the week before and enter a difficult place to play.

Jaguars 31, Colts 21

Week 6: Indianapolis Colts (3-2) @ Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 13

The Colts make their annual visit to Nashville, and this Titans team is very different this season. They have some new pieces on both sides of the ball and a completely new coach and scheme. Six weeks into the season, they will still be learning and finding out if Will Levis is the guy under center. The Colts take advantage of this to get a key division road win after struggling in Jacksonville.

Colts 31, Titans 13

Week 7: Miami Dolphins @ Indianapolis Colts (4-2) at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 20

This matchup is the type of game that both teams need to win early in the season, both from a confidence standpoint and for potential playoff positioning.

The Colts’ young players struggled to lock down No. 1 wide receivers all year. Miami is stacked on the outside and added Odell Beckham Jr. for teams to scheme against. The speed and talent of Miami is too much for the Colts to handle as they drop their first home game of the season.

Dolphins 34, Colts 20

Week 8: Indianapolis Colts (4-3) @ Houston Texans at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 27

The Colts finish their season series with Houston on the road. The Colts won the first matchup at home, but this time, it does not go as well.

Houston corrects the issues that plagued it in the first matchup, and Indianapolis' struggles against Miami continue against another strong WR tandem. The Colts hit their first losing streak of the season in a key divisional matchup.

Texans 38, Colts 24
