AFC South QB Power Rankings going into Week 5
By Ryan Heckman
3. Anthony Richardson, Colts
Our guy Anthony Richardson comes in at no. 3, but it is still so early in the season and he very well could find himself higher in the near future. Richardson missed a little time due to injury, so he's really only played in roughly two and a half games so far this season.
But, in that time frame, Richardson has been downright electric. He has been the catalyst for this Colts offense, and the reason for why it runs well when it does. Through this point, Richardson has totaled 479 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and just one interception.
On the ground, Richardson has amassed 131 yards and four scores. Again, that's in just a little over two games played. Gardner Minshew was forced into action and played pretty solid football in relief of the injured rookie, so the Colts' quarterback room is looking like a strength.
At this point, I am almost talking myself into dropping Trevor Lawrence to third on this list with Richardson climbing into the no. 2 spot. For now, we'll keep Richardson right here. However, he's close to finding himself higher in the near future.x
