Colts 7-Round Mock Draft: Indianapolis addresses top two concerns immediately
By Ryan Heckman
On the pass rush topic, the Colts snag some depth at defensive end in the sixth round with James Madison's Jalen Green. Coming from a smaller program, Green did everything he could to make it this far. He was last year's Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and even won the CFN Defensive Player of the Year.
He's a bit undersized at just 6-foot-2, but the guy plays with a motor. Last season, he tallied 21 tackles for loss including 15.5 sacks, to go along with a couple of forced fumbles, a pass breakup and an interception.
With their final pick in the draft, the Colts try and add some competition at running back. Behind Jonathan Taylor, it's Evan Hull, Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson. While none of those guys have done much of anything in the pros, that's where a possible gem like Deshaun Fenwick comes in to steal the show.
Fenwick is a tank, standing over six feet tall, weighing 225 pounds. He runs hard and rarely gets moved backward. At the very least, Fenwick could become a go-to third down back or short yardage type for the Colts.
